Hot Shot is the fifth studio album released by Shaggy in 2000. It sold six million copies in the US alone and has been certified 6x Platinum.

- The track "Dance and Shout" features a sample from The Jacksons' 1978 hit, "Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)"
- The track "Luv Me, Luv Me" features a sample from The Honey Drippers' 1973 "Impeach The President"
- The album version of "Luv Me, Luv Me" features singer Samantha Cole singing the hook, due to uncleared permission from Virgin Records for the original version's Janet Jackson vocals.
- The track "Keep'n It Real" was featured on the soundtrack for the movie Holes.
