There are many Human Advancement programmes around the world which are mainly concerned with improving the lives of people in poor communities. Human Advancement is also about making changes to society in order to improve the lives of individuals, their mental, emotional and spiritual growth by improving education, appreciation of culture, encouraging strengths and special qualities in individuals, developing science and technology and decreasing threats to the Human Race.
