Foziling Dam, Huoshan County

Huoshan County (simplified Chinese: 霍山县; traditional Chinese: 霍山縣) is a district of Anhui Province, People's Republic of China under the jurisdiction of Lu'an City. It has a population of 370,000 and an area of 2,042 square kilometres (788 sq mi). The government of Huoshan County is located in Hengshan Town.

Huoshan County has jurisdiction over nine towns and sixteen townships.

The county is home to some of the poorest villages in rural China with an annual GDP of less than 1600 RMB.

Heifer International is actively involved in supporting villages in Huoshan County.[clarification needed "Who are Heifer International?"]
