Hy Conrad

Hy Conrad is an American author of mystery fiction. He wrote numerous books of crime puzzles. Conrad also wrote screenplays for television, notably for the comedy-drama series Monk, which he was also the Co-Executive Producer of.[1]He was one of the original writers for Monk, writing 2 or more episodes for each of the 8 seasons.

After the Monk series ended he wrote Almost Perfect Crimes, a book of short crime mystery puzzles not unlike some of his TV plots. He continued writing short mystery stories and then changed to full length mystery novels in 2012. The same year he wrote a humorous book, Things Your Dog Doesn't Want You to Know.

He lives in Key West.
