Currently, Hypermarcas operates five industrial complexes with 13 different production lines, located in the states of Goias, Santa Catarina, São Paulo and Rio Grande do Sul has a portfolio of brands and products with established demand that the Company has historically provided a solid stream cash. Among the products marketed by Hypermarcas, there is a topical solution of chlorhexidine digluconate, used to clean and disinfect small wounds, that is sold under the brand name of "Merthiolate".[2] This is distinguished from thiomersal, which is the traditional organomercury compound sold under the brand name of "Merthiolate".[3]
