"I'm Going to Go Back There Someday" is an original song written by Kenny Ascher and Paul Williams for The Muppet Movie. The Muppets get stranded in the desert, and as night falls they sit around a campfire. Gonzo recalls his experience flying and expresses his longing to return to the sky in song, while Rowlf the Dog accompanies him on harmonica.
In 1999, Gonzo (Dave Goelz) re-recorded the song for Muppets From Space. Although the song is not heard in the movie, it is included in the soundtrack.
