IBA Group is a Czech/Belarusian company, an alliance of IT companies that perform offshore, near-shore and on-shore projects. IBA Group serves clients in 30+ countries across diverse markets and industries, including banking, railway, telecommunication, manufacturing, healthcare, trade, and public.
IBA has offices in the United States, Great Britain, Germany, Russia, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan and development centers in the Czech Republic, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. In 2005, after the Czech Republic became a member of the European Union, IBA Group relocated its headquarters to Prague, Czech Republic.
IBA Group is engaged in bespoke software development, system integration and product development, and provides distribution services. The IBA international clients are companies that outsource their software development to offshore or near-shore service providers, while its local clients are mostly banks, manufacturing, and transport enterprises that want to streamline their business processes. Globally, IBA operates as an outsourcing service provider and locally as a system integrator, value-added reseller, and original equipment manufacturer.

IBA employs over 2,500 IT and business professionals. Most of them are university-educated programmers with around 30 holding a PhD in computer science. The IBA specialists are qualified in a variety of computer platforms, operating systems, programming languages, tools, and technologies.

IBA was founded in 1993 as a joint venture between IBM and two Belarusian IT enterprises,[1] namely the Computer Research Institute and the Minsk Computer Production Association.[2] In 1999, IBM withdrew as a part owner of IBA, however, remains an important business partner for the company.[3] IBA experienced a rapid growth and now belongs to largest IT service providers in Eastern Europe.[4]

IBA Group specialists are educated in the training centers of IBM, Sun Microsystems, Lotus, SAP, SAS, Oracle, Microsoft, Novell, and 1C. The IBA programmers are also trained at the IBA Training Center.[5]
The IBA Training Center features:
- A testing center authorized by Thomson Prometric
- A testing center authorized by Pearson VUE
- A regional Cisco Networking Academy
- Oracle–authorized training center. Courses in Java, Solaris, and MySQL
- IBM–authorized training center. Training on PMP program, courses in System administration in Lotus Domino 7 and IBM WebSphere MQ V6.0. Programming Using Base Classes for Java

Today, seven IBA-created joint laboratories function in the Belarusian State University, the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics and the Gomel State University. IBA is the general sponsor of the student team of the Belarusian State University that won gold medals at the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest in 2004 and bronze medals in 2008.[6] Since 2008, IBA CZ, development center of IBA Group in the Czech Republic, jointly with the Faculty of Informatics of Masaryk University and IBM Czech Republic, organizers Software Summer Camp[7] for students in Brno, Czech Republic.[8]
