Ibaraki (茨城町 Ibaraki-machi) is a town located in Higashiibaraki District, Ibaraki, Japan.
The town was set to merge with Mito, Ibaraki on December 8, 2007, but following the election of a new mayor in April 2007, these plans were abandoned.
As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 34,964 and a density of 287.44 persons per km². The total area is 121.64 km².
