Ibn Balkhi

Ibn Balkhi (Persian: ابن بلخی) is conventional name for author of the Persian book Fārs-Nāma (فارسنامه), a local history and geography of the Fars province of Iran, written during the Saljuq period. His ancestors came from Balkh, present day Afghanistan.[1]
