Ibrahimpatnam is a census town and the mandal headquarters of Ibrahimpatnam mandal, located in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh, India. Vijayawada Thermal Power Station, one of the major Thermal power stations of the state is located at this town.[3]


As of 2011 census, the village had a population of 29,432. The total population constitute, 13,690 males and 15,742 females —a sex ratio of 1,150 females per 1000 males. 3,052 children are in the age group of 0–6 years, of which 1,514 are boys and 1,538 are girls —a ratio of 1,016 per 1000. The average literacy rate stands at 78.37% with 20,673 literates, significantly higher than the state average of 67.41%.[2][4]
