The text in an old German song book, titled
Gelübde
Ich hab' mich ergeben is a German Lied (song). The text was written in 1820 by Hans Ferdinand Maßmann. The original title is Gelübde, and was sometimes played when soldiers gave their oath.
The song was an unofficial national anthem of West Germany, from 1949 to 1952, before the reinstallation of the Deutschlandlied.
The music is the same of Patriots of Micronesia.
