Illegal Alien is a BBC Books original novel written by Mike Tucker and Robert Perry and based on the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. It features the Seventh Doctor and Ace, as well as the Cybermen.
Illegal Alien was originally under consideration as a three-part script for the 1990 season of Doctor Who. It was never produced as the programme ceased production in 1989.
As with all Doctor Who spin-off media, its relationship to the televised serials is open to interpretation.
