Portion used |
The entire logo is used to convey the meaning intended and avoid tarnishing or misrepresenting the intended image. |
Low resolution? |
The logo is of a size and resolution sufficient to maintain the quality intended by the company or organization, without being unnecessarily high resolution. |
Purpose of use |
The image is placed in the infobox at the top of the article discussing Fiji Infantry Regiment, a subject of public interest. The significance of the logo is to help the reader identify the organization, assure the readers that they have reached the right article containing critical commentary about the organization, and illustrate the organization's intended branding message in a way that words alone could not convey. |
Replaceable? |
Because it is a non-free logo, there is almost certainly no free representation. Any substitute that is not a derivative work would fail to convey the meaning intended, would tarnish or misrepresent its image, or would fail its purpose of identification or commentary. |

The Fiji Military Badge has significant features that are pertinent to Fiji’s proud military history.
After the Malayan Campaign of World War II, the badge was introduced to Fiji’s Military by the late Ratu Sir Josefa Lalabalavu Vanayaliyali Sukuna. The red and green patches on the badge represent the blood of Fijian Soldiers spilt on the ground of war. The red obviously represents blood which is in velvet red (The Queens Royal Colour) and the green jackets which the Fiji Army is affiliated to.
The Emblem of the Eight Pointed Stars represents our link to the Kings Rifle Corps of the British Army. The eight pointed star also associates the Fiji Military as a sister corps to the latter corps of the Kings.
The Lion on the Crown signifies our close association with the Monarch of the British Empire. The Lion itself also signifies the links between the Monarch to one of the 12 tribes of Israel (Judah’s tribe – Lion of Judah). This emblem was given to Ratu Sir Lala Sukuna by the Queen for the Fiji Military Forces.
