The Imitation of Christ is a controversial painting depicting a gay Jesus painted by prominent Tasmanian artist Shaun McGowan. The painting has sparked much controversy, and has prompted a few of Tasmania’s MP’s to declare that the painting should not be allowed to be displayed publicly.
