In Mourning is a progressive death metal band from Falun, Sweden. Having released 2 full length albums on the Singaporean label Pulverised Records, they are currently signed to Spinefarm Records. Their latest album Monolith was released on January 25, 2010. The followup, The Weight Of Oceans is scheduled for release in 2012[1]. Their two albums released to date have been well received by the metal community[2].

Apart from their debut album the band has published several self-released demos.[3] Their debut album Shrouded Divine, released on January 2, 2008 by Aftermath Music,[4] has received mostly favorable reviews, especially by European music websites and magazines.[5][6][7] The second album Monolith was released on January 25, 2010 by Pulverised Records, with which they have a contract for two albums.[8]
On November 29th, 2011, the band announced on their official website that Spinefarm Records will be releasing their new album, "The Weight Of Oceans" in 2012.
