In Search of Sunrise (abbreviated ISOS) is the title given to a trance/house mix-compilation music CD series by Tijs Verwest under his most well known pseudonym Tiësto. The series, currently up to its ninth installment, is released by Tiësto on the label SongBird,[1] a subdivision of Black Hole Recordings.[2] It debuted on the Billboard 200 at #170 with 4,200 sales. On April 7, 2010 Tiësto announced that he will no longer be involved with the In Search of Sunrise series following his departure from Black Hole Recordings, and will instead start a new mix compilation series by the name Club Life on his new label Musical Freedom.[3] On April 8, 2010 Black Hole Recordings announced that the eighth installment in the series would be mixed by Dutch producer Richard Durand.[4]

The first seven installments in the In Search Of Sunrise series were mixed by Tiësto. Since the third album, each compilation have been a given subtitle with a certain country that inspired the particular DJ. The eight and ninth installments are the first not to be mixed by Tiësto, who founded the series in 1999. The eighth and ninth compilations were both mixed by Richard Durand, and released on May 10, 2010, and June 06, 2011, respectively.

In the summer 2010 released Tiësto a DVD from his very special moments in the spring in Asia from the Elements of Life World Tour and the beginning of his new world tour In Search of Sunrise: Summer Tour 2008.
The DVD includes many tracks form the In Search of Sunrise 7: Asia Album.
