Incident is a student cultural festival of the National Instititute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, Karnataka, India.[1] The festival is generally held during the even semesters of the academic calendar (mostly in February). Incident was first First held in 1980.[citation needed]
Held over five days, the festival encompasses events that include dance, dramatics, music, painting, fashion and quizzes.[2] The festival's Pro-Nite event features top Indian singers and bands such as Parikrama in 2005,[citation needed] Euphoria in 2006,[2] Raghu Dixit[citation needed] and Indian Ocean[1] in 2007,[citation needed] KK in 2008[citation needed] and again in 2010,[citation needed] Nikhil Chinapa and Kunal Ganjawala in 2009,[citation needed] Motherjane in 2010[citation needed] and Motherjane in 2010.[citation needed] Incident 2012 is set to feature Sonu Nigam.[3]
