Indiabulls Amravati Thermal Power Project

Indiabulls Amravati Thermal Power Project is a coal based thermal power plant located in Nandgaonpeth village in Amravati district Maharashtra. The power plant is operated by the Indiabulls Power Limited a subsidiary of Indiabulls.

Coal for the plant is sourced from South Eastern Coalfields Limited, Western Coalfields Limited and Mahanadi Coalfields Limited. Water is sourced from Vidharbha Irrigation Development Corporation.[1]

As of July 2014, there are talks of Adani Power in process of acquiring this power project [2]
