Infetti Ground is a football pitch in Birkirkara, a town located in the centre of Malta. The ground has a capacity of 2,500. It is currently used mostly for football matches and athletics training. It is the home stadium of Birkirkara F.C. The name Infetti means infected in Italian.[1] In the past centuries these fields - which had in recent years been developed into a sport complex - served as a grave yard for victims that had died with the plague.
