Infor Global Solutions is a privately held U.S. software company that specializes in enterprise software ranging from financial systems and resource planning to the supply chain and customer relationships.[3][4]

Headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia, Infor is a privately held company whose primary shareholder is the private equity firm Golden Gate Capital Partners.

As a private company, not listed on the Stock Exchange, Infor is not required to publicly disclose financial statements. So, the only public information is the one the company allows to be public. For instance, the company communicates its revenues, but not its net income, which remains unknown.

Infor has acquired a number of companies to become the 3rd largest business applications provider (comparing revenues) behind SAP and Oracle Corporation.[5]

According to company and media sources, Infor is the 10th largest software company in the world,[6] with revenues of $2.2 billion.

The company was founded in 2002 under the name Agilisys in Malvern, Pennsylvania. In February 2004, Agilisys headquarters were relocated to Alpharetta, in the Atlanta metropolitan area, and Agilisys acquired the German company Infor Business Solutions, headquartered in Friedrichsthal (Saar). After this acquisition, Agilisys changed its name to Infor Global Solutions. Infor reaches the position of the third largest business applications provider (comparing revenues) after its acquisition of rival SSA Global for $1.4 billion in May 2006. [7]
