Informatica Corporation is a NASDAQ listed company with ticker INFA.[3] Founded in 1993, its headquarters is in Redwood City, California.[4] Founded by Diaz Nesamoney and Gaurav Dhillon. Sohaib Abbasi is the company's Chairman and CEO.[4]

Informatica's products include Informatica Data Services - the new data virtualization solution, Informatica Data Services, PowerCenter, PowerExchange, Complex Event Processing, B2B, Information Lifecycle Management, Data Quality, Data Replication & Fast Clone, Master Data Management, and Ultra Messaging.Current release is Informatica Power Center 9.1.0 [4] These components form a toolset for establishing and maintaining enterprise-wide data warehouses, including the key ETL processing. It has a customer base of over 4,500 companies.[4][5]
In 2006, Informatica launched its business, Informatica Cloud.[6] Due to its ability to consolidate data from many customer touch points, Informatica Cloud has since gained notable customers such as the Dallas Mavericks basketball franchise.[7] In May 2010, Informatica announced that Toshiba America Business Solutions had signed up for the service, with sales process deployment increased from months to hours.[8]
