The École de Management Strasbourg or EM Strasbourg, formerly Institut Européen d'Etudes Commerciales Supérieures de Strasbourg or European Institute for Higher Business Studies, is a business school in France. The Institut Européen d'Etudes Commerciales Supérieures de Strasbourg (IECS) was created in 1919 in Strasbourg.
EM Strasbourg is a division of the University of Strasbourg. It is strictly a business school, and is since 2000 one of the elite grandes écoles in France, ranking in the top 20 business schools in the nation. Students can focus their studies in banking/finance, entrepreneurship/organization/management, finance/accounting/auditing, supply chain management, management information systems, or marketing/sales. EM Strasbourg also has a large student exchange program with nearly 150 partner institutions located all over the world, hosting students from every continent and fostering partnerships with various graduate and undergraduate programs.

- 1919 IECS was created by the Chambre de Commerce et Industrie (CCI).
- 1956 IECS was transformed to an Institute de Universitie de Strasbourg, putting it under the control of the Minister of Education.
- 1971 IECS changed its name to Institute Européen d’Etudes Commerciales Supérieures, and focused on research as well as teaching.
- 1987 Curriculum was revised to include a mandatory study abroad.
- 1997 Introduction to the HERMES network, a university affiliation that focuses on dual degrees.
- 1999 Strategic move combines IECS and the Department of Economic Sciences and Management of Louis Pasteur University and the Institute for Business Administration of Robert Schuman University.
- 2000 IECS is accepted as a Grande École, marking it as one of the top tier universities in France.
- 2007 IECS merged with IAE to form Ecole de Management Strasbourg (English name: EM Strasbourg Business School)
- 2009 With the fusion of the University of Strasbourg, EM Strasbourg became one of the most prestigious institute of management of France and Europe with almost, within France's largest university (almost 40,000 students - 21% foreign students).
EM Strasbourg has nearly 150 prestigious foreign partners such as the University of Birmingham, the Indian Institute of Management of Lucknow, the University of Manchester, HEC Montréal, Eae Escuela De Administrac. De Empresas Barcelona or Toyo University Tokyo. As a result, EM Strasbourg is one of the most famous MASTER +5 business schools in the world according to the Financial times in 2009.
