[edit] Plot
Night over Groznvy, Russia. A pair of F-16 Falcons chases down an unidentified spacecraft moving at supersonic speeds. Within minutes, it is the F-16s that are chased and eventually they are blasted out of the sky by the spacecraft. Minutes later, residents report a "meteor" flying the city and landing somewhere in the distant hills.
All bordering countries and military commanders deny shooting down the American jets. But JACK WEBER (Nigel Bennett), head of the Alpha Force knows this isn't some random, wild-eyed military assault. At least not by humans.
He calls in LT SEAN LAMBERT (Oliver Gruner)), the sole survivor of the first Alpha mission four years ago in Mexico. Lambert's entire team was killed while trying to capture a single specimen. Now Weber wants Lambert to take a new team of interceptors into Russia. the mission is he same; locate and captures the alien specimen at all costs.
Lambert and the Alpha Force are flown to Groznvy. The new team is science officer DAWN DESILVA (Adrienne Wilkson) and Special Ops soildiers BJORN HATCH (Alex Jolig) NATHAN McALLISTER (Roger R Cross) and ADRIANA SIKES (ELizabeth Gracen). They find the wreckage of the alien spacecrafts outside a Russian nuclear plant, Holes blasted in the razor fencing and thick concrete walls suggests the alien is inside.
The Alpha Force enter the nuclear plant and seal off the exits, creating a trap for the alien. But then, one by one, the Alpha Force are killed off by a creature that possesses a laser weapon, can change its appearances and can also regenerate itself completely from a single piece of alien tissue. Impossible to catch and impossible to kill. Worst of all, the alien has found a way to explode all the uranium fuel rods in the nuclear plant. Creating a lethal radiation cloud over Europe that will quickly spread and cover the rest of the world. Lambert and the remaining Alpha Force have sixty minutes to save themselves, and the Earth, from nuclear doom.
