InterFace is an open source social network and chat messenger. Its main purpose is to provide a social network that does not track its users. Therefore it is fully decentralized and does not rely on any central servers. It is provided as a browser Addon for the Dooble Web Browser.
InterFace is fully working as an Instant Messenger. Friends are added with a Messenger-Key and this is done symmetrically, meaning each friend has to add the Messenger-Key of the other friend to their own Messenger.
Social Network Function
To add a friend, either add their Messenger-Key, or use InterFace's provided social network function which allows one to pick up friends from lists of friends provided by friends.
The application provides an Email Client, which enables one to send messages to friends' email addresses.
Groupchat sends messages in an IRC like Groupchat.
With the Forums function every user can run a forum and distribute the messages to the friends. It is like a newsgroup channel.
