The International Sign Association (ISA) is a 2,600 member organization of manufacturers, users and suppliers of on-premise signs and sign products from all 50 U.S. states and an additional 54 countries. ISA exists to support, promote and improve the sign industry, which sustains the nation’s retail industry.

  • 1. ISA will represent the industry to improve legislation and regulations that affect the sale and use of signage.
  • 2. ISA will support research concerning the economic value of signage.
  • 3. ISA will represent the industry to improve codes and standards that regulate signage products.
  • 4. ISA will support research concerning scientific and technical aspects of signage.
  • 5. ISA will represent the industry to improve legislation, regulations, codes and technical standards, that regulate the process of manufacturing, installing or servicing signs.
  • 6. ISA will provide education to improve the sign industry.
  • 7. ISA will conduct trade shows to provide a vehicle for vendors to exhibit their offerings to the sign industry and for the generation of income to support the association.
  • 8. ISA will promote the value of the sign industry.
  • 9. ISA will provide services and benefits that enhance the value of membership.
  • 10. ISA will grow membership

Annually, ISA holds the International Sign Expo, which is the largest sign show in the world with nearly 2,000 exhibition booths, and more than 20,000 attendees. ISA has held the annual sign show and convention every year since 1947. ISA also sponsors, or participates in smaller regional shows throughout the year.
