In addition to the listed foreign versions above, the American version of Jeopardy! is distributed internationally and airs across the world. It airs across Canada on CBC Television (except CBET-DT in Windsor, Ontario, due to Detroit rightsholder WDIV-TV).[2] Like most American game shows that air in Canada, Canadians are eligible to appear as contestants on the American version. (Like Wheel of Fortune, there was a French-Canadian version of Jeopardy! that aired for a few seasons. It aired in Quebec from 1991 to 1993 on TVA.) Until 2008, Jeopardy! has aired across Canada mostly on CTV stations, although the Vancouver CTV station CIVT-TV has never aired the show (the show has, however, apparently aired before on local Global station CHAN-TV), and in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, the show has aired on NTV. In January 2011, CBC announced plans to drop Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! in favor of Canadian-produced programming; the shows' final broadcasts on CBC and their replacements have yet to be announced.[3]

Jeopardy! has also occasionally held international tournaments that allow the champions of each country's versions to compete against each other for big money.

In Czech and Slovak adaptations, the show is reduced to simpler quiz format. The clue is often presented as a question or a task and the contestants do not have to answer using a question.
