Interracial is an adjective related to racial group. It can have different connotations in different contexts:

• Interracial marriage is marriage between two people of differing racial groups.
• Interracial adoption means placing a child of one racial group or ethnic group with adoptive parents of another racial group or ethnic group.
• Interracial pornography is visual pornography depicting sexual activity between performers of different racial or ethnic groups, usually involving white female and black male performers.
• Miscegenation is a usually-derogatory term used to describe the mixing of different racial groups. It refers to marrying, cohabiting, having sexual relations or procreating with a partner from outside of one's racially or ethnically defined social group.
• Multiracial (similar to biracial or mixed-racial group) is an adjective describing people who are more than a single racial group.
• The word "interracial" may be used in reference to the mixing of people of different racial groups that results from racial integration or desegregation.

• The Commission on Interracial Cooperation was an organisation in the southern United States in the early 20th century.
