Ioan Puşcaş (b. July 10, 1932)[1] is a gastroenterologist, born in Treznea, Sălaj, Romania. In the 1970s, he proposed the use of carbonic anhydrase (CA) inhibitor acetazolamide to heal peptic ulcers.[2][3]
