Iola Township is one of twelve townships in Allen County, Kansas, USA. As of the 2000 census, its population was 843.

Iola Township covers an area of 44.02 square miles (114.0 km2) and contains two incorporated settlements: Bassett and Iola (the county seat). According to the USGS, it contains three cemeteries: Highland, Iola and Iola.
The streams of Coon Creek, Deer Creek, Elm Creek and Rock Creek run through this township.
