The article of Mitsuru Ushijima states this quote as being "The way may be dark", which makes more sense. This made no sense, given articles on Nanking massacre and Prince Asaka both specify that Asaka is widely accused of perpetrating the Rape of Nanking by ordering all captives murdered. So it made sense to me that General Cho either OBEYED Asaka or ordered the killings on his own, NOT "disobeyed" an order or ordered killings on his own. undo Tag: Visual edit
