Ismail Jubouri (Arabic: إسماعيل الجبوري) is the senior rebel leader of the Islamic Army in Iraq, one of the influential insurgent groups operating in Iraq. He is also a member of a prominent Sunni tribe located south of Baghdad. Jubouri's main objective is to remove foreign troops from Iraq, often using insurgent tactics to do so. He was quoted as saying "The members of his army believe in the language of weapons".[1]
