Issa Hassan

Issa Hassan (born December 25, 1970 in Beirut, Lebanon), is a Kurdish musician and music composer. His grandparents Template:Emigrated to Template:Lebanon as exiles from Kurdistan in Southeastern Anatolia. Issa is considered to have produced a new style of Kurdish music by mixing flamenco and jazz with Kurdish rhythms and musical forms.
He currently lives in Paris and has participated in numerous international music festivals.
