J.J. Moses (born Jerry James Moses Jr.,[2] September 12, 1979 in Waterloo, Iowa) is a former American football wide receiver in the NFL. During his career he was listed as the shortest player in the NFL at 5'6".

His primary roles were as kick returner and punt returner. He also played in the Scottish Claymores of NFL Europe, where he was the #1 punt returner for the season. He previously played for the Houston Texans, the Green Bay Packers and the Arizona Cardinals, mostly on special teams. He was the Most Valuable Player at Iowa State University in 2000. He also played his high school football at Waterloo East High School. He received his bachelor's degree from Iowa State University. On November 21, 2001 he was signed to the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad where he spent the final seven games of the season.[3][4] J. J. is currently a Houston Texans ambassador.[5]
