Jamie C. (J. C.) France[1] (born November 1, 1965 in Lakeland, Florida) is an American auto racing driver competing in the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series. He is currently co-driver of the #59 Brumos Porsche-Riley Daytona Prototype with João Barbosa.[1] He is son of Jim France, nephew of Bill France, Jr. and grandson of NASCAR's founder Bill France. He was involved in a fistfight with rival Chris Bingham after the two collided at the 2006 race at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City.[2]
He was arrested in October 2009 in Daytona and charged with DUI and possession of crack cocaine.[3]
Charges have since been dropped [4] and he is back to racing.[5]
