Iyalode Jokotola Abebi Aromire, (1935–2007). Born on April 1, 1935 in Otta, Nigeria to Sanusi Afolabi and Raliat Oduola Salako. Attended St. James' School, Otta, Nigeria and Teacher Training College, Lagos, Nigeria. Certified Teacher and proceeded to Nottingham, United Kingdom for Montessori Teacher Training and Certification. Married to Tanimowo Olumuyiwa Aromire. Supervisory Councillor for Education, Ifo Otta Local Government, Nigeria. Community Leader, Educationist and Founder of Iganmode Nursery and Primary Schools, Otta, Nigeria in 1976 and Royal College, Otta, Nigeria in 1995. At diverse times, President of Council of Women Societies and Horticultural Societies. Installed Yesorun of Otta in 1970 and subsequently, Iyalode of Otta in 1990.
