Jackson Township covers an area of 28.36 square miles (73.5 km2); of this, 0.16 square miles (0.41 km2) or 0.54 percent is water. Lakes in this township include Hi-Way Springs. The streams of Auburn Brook, Coon Creek, Crietz Creek, Horn Creek, Lick Branch, Pinhook Drain, Pronghorn Run, Springs Run and Symonds Creek run through this township.
