Jahanabad is a town and a nagar panchayat in Pilibhit district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

As of 2001[update] India census,[1] Jahanabad had a population of 12,420. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Jahanabad has an average literacy rate of 37%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 46%, and female literacy is 26%. In Jahanabad, 19% of the population is under 6 years of age.
