Jaka Lakovič (born July 9, 1978 in Ljubljana, SR Slovenia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Slovenian professional basketball player for Sidigas Avellino of the Italian League. A dynamic 186 cm tall point guard.
Professional career[edit]
Previously, Lakovič played with FC Barcelona, Panathinaikos BC, Krka Novo Mesto.[1]
His brilliant performances during the 2004-05 Euroleague season wearing Panathinaikos jersey earned him an All-Euroleague Second Team selection as he reached the Euroleague Final Four.
In the July of 2011, he signed a two-years contract with Galatasaray Medical Park.[2][3]

Slovenian national team[edit]
Lakovič competed for the Slovenian national team at the 2006 FIBA World Championship, the 2010 FIBA World Championship, and also at 6 straight FIBA European Championships, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2011.
