Jamaine Cook (born February 2, 1989) is an American football running back who plays for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League. He played college for the Youngstown State Penguins. He is from Middleburg Heights, Ohio.

College career[edit]

Cook played four years at Youngstown State University (2009-12) and finished second in school history with 4,052 rushing yards and 20 individual 100-yards rushing performances, while adding 39 touchdowns on 811 attempts. He totaled more than 1,200 rushing yards and 11 rushing scores in each of his three seasons as a starter and rushed for 1,279 yards with 15 touchdowns on 279 carries in 2012.

Cleveland Browns[edit]

On August 20, 2013, Cook was signed by the Cleveland Browns and later waived on August 31, 2013.[1]

On January 2, 2014, Cook sign with the Cleveland Browns.[2] He was released on May 19, 2014.[3]
