Jameh Mosque

Jameh Mosque (Persian: مسجد جامعmasjed(-e) jāme', "Congregational Mosque"; also spelled jame, jamé, or jomeh Mosque) is a term used by Persian speakers to refer to the grand mosque within a city, and is usually the place of gathering for ′Eid Prayers and Friday prayers. Jāmeh (جامع) stems from the root word jám (جمع) meaning "gathering", and should not be confused with Jom'ah (جمعه) meaning "Friday".
