James Francis Montgomery

The Very Reverend James Francis Montgomery (1818 – 1897[1]) was an Anglican priest in the second half of the nineteenth century [2]
He studied for the bar before being ordained after a period of study at Durham University. He was a Curate at Puddletown [3] before Edinburgh incumbencies and was in time appointed Provost of that city’s cathedral in 1879[4]
