James Greene (born 19 May 1931 in Belfast, Northern Ireland) is an actor who has appeared in numerous plays and series on United Kingdom television over a 40 year period. He has often played lawyers, clergymen, army officers and latterly judges.[1]

He was a continuity announcer on Ulster Television from 1959 until 1965. His television appearances include: Mapp & Lucia (1985-1986) as the Reverend Bartlett, Chocky (1984), The Bill (1990-2008), Holby City (2005-2013), Doctor Who (2013) and Big School (2013) as Mr Hubble.
