James Martin (born August 21, 1944) is a former American football coach in the United States. He was the 13th head football coach for the Tuskegee University Golden Tigers located in Tuskegee, Alabama and he held that position for ten seasons, from 1984 until 1993. His coaching record at Tuskegee was 47 wins, 50 losses, and 2 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2007 season, this ranks him fourth at Tuskegee in total wins and 12th at Tuskegee in winning percentage (.485).[1]
