James Morrison, 2nd Baron Margadale

James Ian Morrison, 2nd Baron Margadale (17 July 1930 – 6 April 2003) was the son of Major John Morrison, 1st Baron Margadale and Hon. Margaret Esther Lucie Smith.
He married Clare Barclay, daughter of Anthony Lister Barclay, on 14 October 1952 and had three children:
- The Honourable Fiona Elizabeth Morrison, born 1954. She married Hugh Trenchard, 3rd Viscount Trenchard in 1975 and had four children:
- The Honourable Alexander Thomas Trenchard, 26 July 1978
- The Honourable Catherine Clare Trenchard, 1980
- The Honourable William James Trenchard, 1986
- The Honourable Laura Mary Trenchard, 1987
- Alastair Morrison, 3rd Baron Margadale, born 4 April 1958 married Lady Sophia Cavendish in 1988 and had two children:
- The Honourable Declan James Morrison, 11 July 1993
- The Honourable Nancy Lorna Morrison, 22 January 1995
- The Honourable Hugh Morrison, born 1960, married Jane Jenks in 1986 and had two children:
- Geordie Anthony Morrison, 1989
- Amber Belinda Morrison, 1993
