Jammie Dodgers are a popular British biscuit, made from shortbread and plum jam. They are produced by Burton's Foods at its factory in Cwmbran.

Occasionally, Burton's has produced other limited edition Jammie Dodgers with flavours such as "Vanilla Thriller" and "Vimto" and more recently "Lively Lemon".

The biscuit has been mentioned several times in the British science fiction programme Doctor Who. Matt Smith, who plays The Doctor, has described Jammie Dodgers as The Doctor's favourite snack. In the episode "Victory of the Daleks" (2010), The Doctor temporarily tricks the Daleks into believing that a Jammie Dodger is actually a remote self-destruct button for the TARDIS. He later asks for a dozen in his list of demands in "The Impossible Astronaut" (2011) after helping President Nixon trace a mysterious phone call. His request is denied. In the episode "Night Terrors", (2011) the Doctor asks a character if he has any Jammie Dodgers.
In BBC Two's "Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps", Jonny Keogh's favourite biscuits are Jammie Dodgers. In one episode, Jonny's head is eaten by a giant Jammie Dodger.
In the 2006 animated film "Flushed Away", main character Rita's boat is named the Jammy Dodger.[1]
