Jan Stip is the Vice President, New Business BU (NBBU) of Juniper Networks,[1][2][3] an multinational networking products company based in Sunnyvale, California.

Early life and education[edit]

Jan Stip holds a Masters degree in Information Technology from Webster University, Leiden (1992) and BSc, Electrical Engineering from Christelijke Hogeschool Windesheim (1986).

Career[edit]

Jan Stip was the General Manager Service Providers EMEA, Ascom Timeplex during June 1994 - November 1999 and had worked on most of the major telecom accounts including, KPN Telecom, Deutsche Telekom, Viag, Telfort, and Telecom Italia. He joined Juniper as the Regional Account Manager for The Benelux and Scandinavia in December 1999.[4] He was the Vice President, Service Provider North-, West Europe, Russia CIS, Middle East and Africa and he led the Service Provider Sales organization. He is currently the Vice President, New Business BU (NBBU) at Juniper Networks.[5]
