Jani Hakanpää (born March 31, 1992) is a Finnish professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing with the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League as a prospect of the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League. He originally played in his native Finland for the Espoo Blues of the SM-liiga. Hakanpää was selected by the St. Louis Blues in the 4th round (104th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.[1]

He was recalled to the St. Louis Blues from their AHL affiliate in Peoria on April 23, 2013. During his stint in Peoria, he registered one goal and three assists in fourteen games.[2]
