Janmeja (also known as Jaymeja and Janmayjay) is the name for a gotra of Jats found in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

The Jats of the Janmeja gotra reside in the village of Goharni near Shamli, which is in the Muzaffarnagar district, Uttar Pradesh, India. There are three other gotras in the same village, including Beniwal and Rana. Jats of Janmeja are known as "haveliwalas" or "heliwale" in the local language. Janmeja is a very close-knit clan with relations mainly in Meerut and Muzzaffarnagar. According to the Bhats keeping the family history, a branch of the family had also settled in Bulandshahr.
