Japan–China Joint Declaration on Building a Partnership of Friendship and Cooperation for Peace and Development (Chinese: 中日关于建立致力与和平与发展友好合作伙伴关系的联合宣言; Japanese: 平和と発展のための友好協力パートナーシップの構築に関する日中共同宣言 or simply 日中共同宣言) was made to reaffirm friendly and cooperative relations between the People's Republic of China and Japan on November 26, 1998, when Jiang Zemin visited Japan to hold a meeting with Keizo Obuchi.
