Japan-South Korea Joint Declaration: A New Japan-Korea Partnership towards the Twenty-first Century (Japanese: 日韓共同宣言, Korean: 한일공동선언, Hanja: 韓日共同宣言) was made on October 8, 1998 to reaffirm friendly and cooperative relations between Japan and South Korea.
